Tunnels Flåm line

Below is a complete list of all the tunnels on the Flåm railway. The Flåm railway runs between Myrdal at 866 meters above sea level and Flåm at 2 meters above sea level. It was opened in 1940 and electrified in 1944. The maximum speed on this line is 40 km/h. The Flåm railway is 20.4 kilometers long with a maximum gradient of 5.5%. Travelling on the Flåm railway takes approximately 55 minutes one way and the train always makes a stop at the waterfall Kjosfossen so that the passengers can go out and take photos.
