The illuminated letter identifies the line or track area to which the accompanying proceed aspect applies.

Two vertical steady white lights repeat signal 21; two vertical steady green lights repeat signal 22.

Signal 68E

Diverging speed

The illuminated number gives the diverging speed in tens of kilometres per hour; 5 means 50 km/h.
