The Norwegian Railway Directorate and Bane NOR SF have reached an agreement with the mobile operators Telenor, Telia, and Lyse Tele (“Ice”) on the principles for cost sharing related to the establishment, renewal, and operation of mobile communications infrastructure in railway tunnels.
Train service is up and running
This afternoon, all train service was suspended because Telenor's cell network was down. Without phone service, lives can be lost on the railroad.
The 2027 State Budget—What It Means for Bane NOR
